Editing 15/11/13
This lesson we added in our music video title, artist name and our actors name. We used a font called "Popular STD".
(video title)
(artist name)
(character label)
We also edited the runway scene and cut up the dancing so we could mix some of the runway shots with other party scenes. Doing this helped lengethen the visuals for the video and have something to show with the audio throught out the whole video.
Again we got rid of more unnecessary shots that didn't really fit the music video. For example there were a few shots of our main performer doing random things, that could easily be replaced with lip syncing shots or narrative. Also there were a few weak lip syncing shots that were replaced with stronger lip syncing performances.
Editing 12/11/13
Today we finished the ending of our music video. We had two alternative endings an couldn't decide which one looked best. We asked for another opinion and asked our media teacher on what ending she preferred. We showed her the first ending, which was the camera spinning around in the middle of a group of people. The second ending was of our main actor being punched by the guy from scenario 3 and falling onto the sofa and the non-diegetic music fading into diegetic music.. Our media teacher told us that she preferred the spinning around ending as it faded to black and wasn't as abrupt as the ending where our actor gets punched. She also liked the graduation of the speed becoming faster as the camera spun around. Our teacher also said that she would like more performing shots and lip syncing shots.
Next lesson we will add in more lip syncing shots.

In todays lesson we added in more shots of Ilarna lip syncing as we thought we needed to swap the fill in shots with more appropriate footage, that would make it more interesting for the viewer.
We also decided to keep the best parts of our rough cut in our music video. We kept the narrative, dancing and opening narrative to our music video.
Another thing we started editing was the runway dance scenes, these would accompany the narrative and would be the cutaways.
