For our digipack cover we came up with the idea of adapting The Godfather film poster as our album cover as one of Wiley's labels is 'Godfather of Grime', making a clear intertextual reference to the highly recognised and praised film franchise.
For the digipack cover we had decided to keep it in simple and in similar style to the original poster; black background, white font, the name of the album 'The Godfather' and have black and white silhouettes of our artist with perhaps one colour accent to contrast the rest of the cover content (as it is done with the red rose on the Godfather poster).
Five out of six of digipack frames will contain close-up images of our artist (as the image seen below) - linking Goodwin's point of record label demand of linking many close-ups of the artist.
