Editing 4/11/13

Today we continued to edit our music video.  we aimed to refine the opening and to finsh our ending which wasn't in our rough cut. In our rough cut, our music video doesn't have any sound at the start, so originally we wanted some background music. After playing back the original test footage, we found that the footage had suitable ambient sound which we could incorporate in our music video. One thing we noticed was that the jump from the beginning too the start of the music was disorientated. After a brainstorming ideas we agreed that we could add a rewind sound effect into the video in order to fix that problem.

This Rewind effect would have the music video rewinding in that short space of time. Inspiration example of this is 'Right There' by Ariana Grande at the beginning.

After finishing our introduction,  we moved onto the ending. The ending in our rough cut wasn't our intended ending and so we looked through our ending folder and started highlighting the appropriate clips. We noticed that we lacked some parts of the ending so we had a limited amount of choices. After dragging that in the timeline we left it at the end. We playbacked the beginning to make sure it was fine but when it started the music we noticed that the clips were out of sync. 

Overall we managed to finish the intro, however we now need to fix the whole video after the intro because the music is no longer in time with the music. We also need to finish the ending.
