In this lesson we added the introduction to our music. This part of our music video has diegtic sound and sees our main actor walk into the house and enter the party. Then the audience see an ipod play music and the screen goes blank. This is followed by a rewind sound and the whole of our music video being rewound in under 3 seconds and then the main music video starts.
We also discussed changes that we had to make to this music video. From the feedback we recieved we discovered that one of the main problems is that the footage is quite dark. For this we will edit the music video footage and make the brightness and contrast higher so the viewers can see everything slightly more clearly. Another change we wanted to make was the lip syncing, this is because we realised that we had added in the lip syncing shots but hadn't used the strongest lip syncing shots. For this will erase all the lip syncing shots and add only the best lip syncing shots to make the music video more enjoyable for the viewer.
In iTunes we edited the rewind sound. The beginning of the sound clip was blank and was pointless having black sound being added to the audio timeline and taking up space, so we cut out the blank sound and just kept the rewind sound that we needed.
During that lesson we briefly discussed what our digipacks and magazine adverts would look like. The genre of music we are looking at (Grime) we would expect a magazine advert for our music artist in a teen magazine.
Next lesson we are aiming to decide where the fight scene will go and starting adding the footage to the timeline.
